Here’s how you can ask a poll directly to your subscribers!
Exciting, right?!
Maybe you’ve got a new design idea, but want to see how it goes over with your list before you put it into production? Well, you can do that very easily with MailChimp’s POLL function.
Step 1:
When you’re writing your campaign email, in your editing section (on the right) you add a little bit of code where you’d like the poll to appear.
CODE:
*|POLL:RATING:H|*
Add your poll question here!
*|END:POLL|*
Example:
*|POLL:RATING:H|*
How much does the design above appeal to you 1=not at all 10=a lot!
*|END:POLL|*
Step 2:
When you’ve finished your campaign, send it out to your subscribers!
This is what the end result will look like on their end! (Here I’ve asked a different question!).
Step 3:
View the poll results in the Campaign Summary Report!
If you find that a little bit confusing, watch the video to see it in action!
Of course there are some limitations with this POLL function, but it’s a good way to use fewer systems in your business and perfect for asking one simple question!
What do you think? Have you used the POLL function? What did you use it for?
